The Primary Wing of Veda Vyasa DAV Public School organized a Hindi Debate Competition for the students of classes IV and V.The topic of the debate was “Sanyunkt Parivar mein hi Jeevan Mulyon ka Vikas Sambhav Hai”. Students put forth their points in favour and against the motion and expressed their views with ease and confidence. While the participants in favour of the motion stated the benefits of a joint family system and its role in shaping up the moral and ethical values in the children, the ones against the motion vehemently opposed them by stating the disadvantages of this set-up in modern times. Ahaana Verma and Nayan Giri bagged the first and second positions respectively in Class IV. Sushmita Chatterjee was declared first and Kopal Tyagi and Aditya Shukla jointly bagged the second position among the students of class V.
